Water damage is a home owners nightmare. If it happens to you, I can’t imagine a better company, especially if they send out Michael and his crew. Not only did Michael do a great job, but he really put me at ease with the whole process and guided me through each step. I hope never need them, but if you do, there’s no better team.

We recently has a pipe spring a leak, we called a plumber who repaired the pipe and referred us to apex for the restoration. Apex was out in 45 minutes!
Joe W. began with thorough checking of moister and planning for clean-up. He told us and showed us each thing that needed repair, demolition and mold removal. He planned actions thoughtfully, for example he contained the demo in a way that let us use our kitchen. Most importantly he talked with us each day, sharing what he had done and what he planned to do the next day. Once the plastic containment began to fall a bit in a corner, when called he said thanks, yes I’ll be over to reinforce it before the end of the day and was.
Joe at Apex was very professional and certainly the best communicator we’ve worked with. We highly recommend Apex.

Joe and his team were efficient, respective of my space and thorough in the abatement and remediation of the intense bio-build up within the divide wall of my kitchen and hallway. Joe stayed in constant contact and even took my call when he was fast asleep. (I totally feel bad about this) I was happy to treat he and his team to pizza lunches while they did the abatement and treatment. The difference is incredible. I will also be posting another post once my restoration/construction is completed.

This summer we had a slab leak in our home and Mike and the team did a tremendous job of completing the work so our home now looks better that when we started. What we appreciated most was the excellence of the work and how they became our trusted adviser with some of the material we chose and how they should be installed, and then they were incredible when it came to dealing with the insurance company. Joe and his son were friendly, knowledgeable and professional during their visit. They wore masks and were considerate of our health and safety. Joe did a crawl check, showed pictures, shared moisture measurements and gave a rough estimate to start the job. We were grateful and happy that we contacted Joe because he fixed the damage under our house; brought absorbent before The White Glove Guys repaired the leak (big help for the plumber) and set up fans for three days. The setup and take-down for water extraction and remediation was awesome, the fans were so quiet for three days. We highly recommend Joe at Apex.

We had a main sewer line burst and flood our home. Of course, this happened on a Sunday. The plumbing company recommended Apex for the mitigation and repairs. Michael Montesdeoca arrived promptly and immediately assured me that he would help and do everything he could to help our family. He did that and more…

We had a pipe break above an upstairs shower. It leaked under real hardwood floors, bathroom and laundry room tiles as well as down the shower wall into the garage ceiling George the lead tech was out immediately and started the demo to dry the water.  His quick work and ideas helped us to save all the flooring, saving us and the insurance a lot of money.  They are very hard working and trustworthy.  And they work with our insurance to document everything. Would highly recommend them!!

Water damage sucks but if you have to deal with it do yourself a favor and call Apex.  They came in quickly and stopped further damage from happening.  Got all belongings out of the way and stored while work was done.  Set up plastic doors so damage and debris didn’t travel to other unaffected areas.  Worked directly with insurance company.  These guys know what they are doing and will get your home back to as good as new.  Thankful for Apex in a stressful time.

We recently had leak in our shower that required repair and clean up of the water damage.  This included repair to the walls in the bathroom and two adjoining rooms as well as a complete rebuild of our shower.    Anderson Plumbing recommended Apex Contracting & Restoration for the repair work.   Hector Tello Jr. along with his crew Leo Diaz and Jesus Maldonado did a really good job with the wall repair, painting and job site clean up.  We were also very happy with tile work that Sal did in our shower.

What a great company!! Had burst pipe Friday.   Pumber fixed pipe and they recommended APEX for all the restoration. They came on Friday with machines for water damage, worked with my insurance company.  It’s a different team for each of their specialties, already had asbestos/lead testing done, they put straight through to my insurance. I have old house came back positive for asbestos but Apex and their wonderful team are taking care of everything sooo quickly. Thank you!! My family lives in San Diego (we live in Chicago) and they had a bathroom pipe break that flooded their home. We were assisted by Shane Frary who did a PHENOMENAL job!! He was professional, patient, thoughtful, meticulous in his assessment of the work needed and a pleasure to have in our home. Living so far away I was concerned about the project getting resolved but I know that we are in good hands with Shane. I highly recommend him and Apex, they are a top quality company with exceptional employees. Do yourself a favor and hire the best, Shane Frary.

Everyone at Apex has been great to work with. Clinton at Apex took great care of us and sent Anthony and the packout crew to get all of our stuff into storage. This is our 2nd flood in 3 years, but this time we have Apex and we are being so much better cared for. I highly recommend this team, nice people and great work.

Our upstairs shower valve broke behind the tile wall and caused a flood in the hall bathroom and downstairs in the laundry room, a big mess with drywall falling apart etc. I went thru USAA insurance who connected me with APEX to do the demolition and repairs. All the APEX workers were top notch. A special thanks to Russ Cramer who did amazing meticulous tile work (we paid extra to upgrade to beautiful large tile from Spain), and to Steve & Mike who somehow carried our new 370 lb marble vanity up the stairs and did drywall, paint, finish carpentry, and to Shane who did the original estimate and follow up. Only negative is communication was sometimes lacking and we didn’t always know if and when workers were coming to the house. But overall, great quality work at a reasonable price with a warranty as well.

We referred to Apex from The Hartford when we discoved a leak in our wall. As new new homeowners this was a very stressful situation.  However, Apex’s professionalism made everything so much easier. Michael, the original estimator was extremely kind, and very responsive. Malcolm the foreman kept the job on tract, and put all our concerns at ease. Keith the carpenter was always there early in the morning with a positive attitude. He took such pride in the work that was being done. My wife dealt with Graham,  and she said he was great as well.

To sum it up, Apex was amazing. They made us feel like our relatively small job was their biggest job on the plate. The area they repaired looks better than before.

First review! Had to leave one after my experience with the guys at Apex. Total professionals. I spoke with Mike about what I needed fixed, his guys were out here the next week. Had some scheduling/access issues bout halfway through, but was able to get an actual human (Tyler?) on the phone and figure it out. Work done fast, right, paid up and I’m happy. Highly recommend!

had a flood in my brand new home last summer.  I was referred to Apex by a good friend who had just done their entire home remodeled and it looked amazing.  I called them once I noticed water at 10 p.m. and they were at my house drying it out by 6 a.m.  Mike Murad was my project manager and was simply the most excellent contractor I’ve ever met.  I was very nervous about mold due to my son’s health condition.  Mike took my concern seriously and sought to it that every wall was checked thoroughly and a formal mold check was done.  From day 1 Mike took such care and pride in restoring my house and did an amazing job.  I have referred Apex to several friends and they have all had excellent experiences as well.  The guys they sent to my home were all respectful and professional.  I would never deal with another contractor again.

Referred by insurance company after a shower leak. They came out and finished the job quickly and I was very satisfied with their quality. No mess, and very professional !! Iwould recommend them without reservation.

I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, skill level and attention to detail the entire Apex team demonstrated during this process. To take on such a large project (4500 square feet) with a very tight timeline (14 days) and complete ahead of schedule reflects on the excellent level of service Apex provides. La Jolla Playhouse was able to remove the rest of the lighting onstage and UCSD Department of Theatre and Dance’s performance next month will run on schedule thanks to you and your team.

Apex Contacting did an excellent job renovating our decks. Martin & Jesus showed up on time, took detailed care to not mess up the inside or outside of the home and always left the work area clean, they were very professional in all of their work.

The bid was straight forward, the billing was correct and when we did have a small issue with some paint they asked us to hold back on a portion of the payment until the project was complete.  Jesus quickly came back to touch up and left everything in perfect condition once again.

We wish all other contractors worked this well.  The deck project was quick, efficient and clean. We are very happy we were able to work with Apex.

Apex is the awarded supplier for flood remediation for our organization and they did not disappoint. Approximately 80,000 sq ft of warehouse and office space were completed flooded 2-6 inches. Apex provided excellent service, reliable staff, and expertise throughout the whole remediation process. They’ve got a large crew they can call in to assist no matter what size your needs are. Special thanks to Murad, Saul, and Chuy for their management, patience, and resolving emerging issues in a timely manner.

I’ve worked alongside these guys on various residential and more advanced condo repairs and resto work, and haven’t been disappointed yet.   A company is only as good as their worst guy, but they seem to have properly trained workers.  The supervisors have also been organized and on time.

I live in OC, had a mid day emergency situation, Michael and his team came out same day. Situation was much worse than originally thought, Michael assured me it would be taken care of and it was. Hopefully we won’t need the services again, but if we do, Apex will be called.

My Fiancée and I had a leak above the Bedroom door.
Apex came in and were able to quickly dry and replace all the damaged wall. It was perfectly repaired and appeared like nothing happened.

Apex did a great job helping clean up some water damage. Mike from their team was extremely helpful in explaining the process and what needed to be done. I was most impressed by the honesty though. When it was determined that the wet area was dry sooner than expected, they reduced the bill for the equipment rental.

Came home from a vacation to find a steady leak in the ceiling of our kitchen which ended up affecting the ceiling, walls and cabinets. Our plumber recommended Apex and I am so grateful that he did. The project is not yet complete (of course these things take twice as long as you anticipate), but so far I am so happy with the progress. The water damage and abatement team did a thorough job, and I cannot praise the cabinet team enough.

Carlos and Omar absolutely CRUSHED it with the kitchen cabinets. They were professional and helpful at every step of the way. You could tell that they really cared about giving you the end result you were looking for. I cannot rave enough about this duo!

I hired Apex to deal with some water damage to my kitchen cabinet after a plumbing leak. Alfonso came out on the same day to do an assessment. He brought in an industrial-scale dehumidifier and blower and recommended leaving them running for four days. These solved the problem and saved me more than $1,000 in cabinet reconstruction costs. Alfonso was responsive and professional throughout the entire process, and I appreciate that he didn’t pressure me to have the cabinet reconstructed unnecessarily.

Apex has been amazing for our flood. The recent rains brought water seeping into our down stairs. I called Apex out and they were there to save us within an hour. Today Peter Ramirez and Mario Ibarra showed up to finish the demo and were wonderful! They were efficient and clean. They greeted me with smiles and told me exactly what would be done. I contacted Apex because I noticed water damage on my kitchen wall. Apex was able to come out within 3 hours and tested to ensure there was no mold. They were able to make an appointment for the next day to remove all of the damage. Peter Ramirez came out and was a terrific technician. I know that water damage to a wall can be very serious especially if it is not treated perfectly. I am 100% confident that everything was treated. I’m glad we have companies like Apex, who are so trustworthy.

I highly recommend Apex for any water damage to your home. We had roof leaks during the holiday storms and George Rivera came out asap. he & his team (Alexis & Jose) worked on cutting out the damage, checking for mold. It was in the kitchen and they put up sheeting to create a tent so debris didn’t get anywhere. George worked hard & fast on demo-ing the bathroom that was damaged. George has always been polite, punctual, explained what was going on, kept us appraised throughout the entire process & what is to come next with the Restoration team. We’ve never had damage to our house before so his help was very extra helpful. Highly recommend. Hopefully we never need them again but if we do, they’ll be the one to call!

As a project coordinator, Apex helped me tremendously in the water mitigation, abatement, and restoration for one of our properties. This is the first time we used them, but it definitely won’t be the last!

The whole team was so willing to help. They have different techs who were in charge of the different processes but they always kept me updated, especially Meagan Nieves. She kept me in the loop & went above & beyond to help in whichever way she could.
